| Founded in 1890, Froitzheim & Rudert GmbH Maschinenfabrik, Germany, specialises in the manufacturing of winding machinery for the electro industry. The company has recently developed its latest toroidal winding machine, model DB 30, which features an increased operational efficiency as well as better and constant quality of the final product. Two different roller table systems have been developed for winding cores with either round or oval geometry. Depending on the specific winding task, the winding head configuration consists of a standard ring gear head or a fast runner head or a combination of exchangeable heads. The self-learning PLC with clear-text display is part of the standard version with which a multitude of winding programs can be stored and processed for executing several different automatic operations. The drives are equipped with servo motors.
