| The Gimax Group, Italy, provides the wire and cable industry with a wide portfolio of respooling equipment which includes pay-offs and take-ups that can be supplied with or without an individual dancer (tensioning system). The company�s pay-off / take-up stands are available in various sizes and designed for bobbins sizing from DIN 640, 760 and 810 (for the smaller models), up to DIN 1000, 1250 and 1500 (for the larger models). The units that are designed to operate at different speeds (up to 40m/s), can also carry various weights ranging from 1,000kg or less (for the smaller and medium-sized units), up to a maximum of 3,000kg on the larger model.
The Gimax models are suitable for high-speed respooling and drawing equipment as well as for slower processes or applications. They can be equipped with lifters, dancers, specific electronics (PLC or drives) AC or DC motors, different types of traverse layering systems, depending on customer requirements. The units are totally enclosed and have a fully interlocked front guard to avoid access during operation, and comply with European EN safety standards.
