| Belt and wheel length measuring units |
| Calmec Precision, Canada, specialises in the production of both belt (with maximum products diameters of 100mm) and wheel length (with maximum products diameters of 150mm) measuring units. Measuring can be done bi-directionally with various formats. All units feature an encoder feedback to a pre-determined counter with multiple outputs, programmed to suit. Both belt and wheel to product contact can be either weight set or pneumatically pressure adjustable, while horizontal and vertical entry and exit rollers maintain product position. The height adjustment is permissible on all pedestal units.
The belt units feature long life steel reinforced polyurethane timing belts, which are tension controlled and enable quick change-over, while the wheel units feature dual large and small diameter urethane coated wheels.
