Sjogren Industries’ product line includes wire straighteners, wedge grips, wire guides, and magnetic brakes and clutches to be used in a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous applications.
It has a comprehensive line of roll straight-
eners and a complete line of replacement parts and precision-grooved rolls.
Sjogren says: “Our precision-grooved rolls deliver the tightest tolerances in the industry (±0.025mm). Our modular units combine a vertical and horizontal straightener, mounted in tandem – an industry-wide, tried-and-tested formula for straightening wire and cable.”
Wire guides are the precision-guiding tools that use rollers to roll rather than slide wire into a drawing machine from coils. Sjogren offers three models: inlet guide roller boxes (RB), guides for traversing pay-offs/take-ups (TG) and wire guide rollers (AR).
On wedge grips Sjogren comments: “We offer four styles of puller assemblies: Morgan-style, Vaughn-style, Sleeper & Hartley-style and Sleeper & Hartley-style with Thumb Release wedge grips.”
