In addition to presenting its full range of colour and additive masterbatches and special PP compounds for the wire and cable industry, PolyOne will also introduce its latest developments in ECCOH LSFOH compounds at wire 2006. ECCOH thermoplastic non-halogenated compounds are low smoke and highly flame retardant, and will not emit corrosive gases when burned.
The company has recently developed new compounds covering a range of applications including sheathing com-pounds for the data and telecom market, and compounds for automotive T3 cable applications resistant to high temperature usage.
Other new developments include com-pounds for power cables and shipboard cables, high oil resistant compounds as well as a new range of masterbatches
that are compliant with both the
RoHS and WEEE directives.
