Foerster will show its modern generation of eddy-current testers Defectomat, working with encircling throughtype coils, and Circograph, with rotating sensors.
It will also present for the first time its new ultrasonic test systems based on EMAT technology: Circoson F, for the detection of internal defects with hot rolled bars (as a supplement to the AC magnetic flux leakage test system Circoflux for the detection of surface defects); and Circoson WT, for the wall-thickness measurement with hot rolled seamless tubes (as a supplement to Foerster’s Rotomat and Transomat systems based on DC magnetic flux leakage method).
