VALBRUNA Edel Inox GmbH
Established in 1925, Valbruna is a leading manufacturer of stainless steel, high nickel alloy and titanium alloy long products. Its range of products includes billet, round, square, flat, hexagon, angle, channel, wire rod and wire, applicable in a wide variety of fields. Applications include fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, rivets), where Valbruna’s wire provides high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. The material can be supplied either oil-drawn, bright degreased, final annealed or soap-coated according to customer requirements.
Valbruna’s grade AISI 304 and 316 low carbon stainless steel wire, which features low adhesion and high corrosion resistance in a wet environment and in the presence of pH variations, makes it particularly suitable for use in the food and medical industries where hygienic conditions are paramount. Finely grained wire suitable for electropolishing can be supplied either oil-drawn or bright degreased.
For the automotive industry, Valbruna’s grade AISI 434 and AISI 409Cb wire both provide reliability and extended lifespan. Its welding wire for the production of coated electrodes and for MIG and TIG processes has proved a popular choice for those end-users who require balanced chemistry and perfect feedings, while its AISI 304L and 316L wire is suitable for use in the building industry, offering increased workability, flexibility and high corrosion resistance.
