Presezzi Extrusion SpA
Presezzi manufactures extrusion presses for non-ferrous metals. Since its estab-lishment in 1993 the company says it has seen a constant growth in the number
of presses supplied, together with the continuous implementation of the latest extrusion technology.
Presezzi bases its success on new manufacturing concepts: forged steel for the main parts of the press, pre-stressed tie-rods, check-ups through US, FEM and magnet tests.
Innovative solutions to support machine operators are machine/man interfaces that allow a total management of the press, which can be extended to the whole extrusion line, through remote control. Data are collected, stored and processed according to user’s requirements. Today Presezzi has a team of expert engineers dedicated to projects from the initial request through the acquisition of the order, the design, construction, dry test, up to the installation, start-up and commissioning.As well as supplying new presses, Presezzi revamps existing ones. The company says: “We have a long reference list, and are able to upgrade parts of presses as well as total revamps and capacity increases.”
