The vinyl division of Teknor Apex is a leading manufacturer of compounds based on PVC, including Apex flexible vinyl; Flexalloy vinyl TPEs; Fireguard low-flame, low-smoke compounds for wire and cable; and Halguard, a new series of halogen-free flame-retardant products. Also to be featured at the stand is the recently introduced FreeFlex range of plasticiser-free vinyl-alloy jacketing compounds, which provide better resistance to embrittlement at very low temperatures than conventional vinyl and avoid loss of physical properties caused by plasticiser volatilisation or migration.
