Galdabini will be exhibiting a testing machine from its new Quasar range which will be equipped with features of special interest for anyone carrying out tensile tests on wires and strand.
The company states: “The features are extremely easy to use, guaranteeing rupture outside the grip insert/specimen interface and this feature coupled with a wide range of extensometry allows the measurement of percentage elongation at rupture, elastic modulus and yield on wire even those with small diameters of a few microns.”
Additionally Galdabini will showcase the latest version of its Graphwork 4 software which has been enhanced with test features specifically for wire and strand testing. With the addition of a web camera the whole test process can be recorded for full data management.
