Siderex Steelwork Exporters Assn
The Spanish Association of Steelworks Exporters (Siderex) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1996 to promote Spanish steel exports. Siderex has 50 member companies, ranging from producers of carbon, stainless and alloy steels, steel processors to steel plant equipment manufacturers. Their combined turnover was €5,823m in 2003 with exports of €1,984m.
In order to achieve its objectives, Siderex sends trade missions abroad, invites foreign purchasing delegations to Spain, participates in international congresses and trade fairs, carries out market research, channels enquiries and demands, and organises advertising campaigns.
