The Marta system, manufactured by GEM is a CNC integrated resistance welding cell. The machine frame consists of two linear axes, with a C welding gun fitted with one upper and one lower electrode.
The maximum working range is 2300 × 1250mm. Both welding heads are fully CNC controlled. On the side of the big
gun, a smaller scissor gun is fitted with three axes.
The two-station turntable is of the
electrical-mechanic cam type, ensuring
high repeatability and reliability. The
machine is fitted with a constant current welding control, with storage of up to
15 welding programs. The CNC, with integrated PLC, is located in the cabinet.
Marta system 9 AX gun is especially suitable for the assembling of wire and steel products, in two and three dimensions.
